Joseph – born in the Philippines and moved to the United States at 8 years of age.  Joseph grew up in Bakersfield, CA and the continued on to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where he earned a degree in Electrical Engineering.  In 1990, During those college years he began a relationship with the Lord!  Upon graduation Joseph worked some time in Engineering and lead the college ministry at his church before the Lord led him to full time ministry with a heart to impact others for eternity. This decision led him on staff with Cru in 1998.  Joseph enjoys spending time with his 4 kids, basketball (especially the Lakers!), working on the car and taking seminary classes.

Michelle – born in 1975 in Oakland, California.  Michelle grew up in the Bay Area and continued on to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where she earned a degree in Liberal Studies (Elementary School Teaching).  In 1993 she trusted Christ through the ministry of Cru on her campus and upon graduation, she joined the full time staff of Cru desiring to touch the lives of others for Jesus Christ. Michelle enjoys photography, reading, homeschooling, traveling and trying new food!

We met the summer of 1998 during new staff training for Cru in Orlando, Florida. We were married soon after and now have 4 children, Luke, Daniel, Jessica and Aleeya. Luke was born July 3, 2000, Daniel was born December 1, 2002 , Jessica was born on March 9, 2005 and we adopted Aleeya on April 28, 2016! 

 

Luke is 22 years old now !  He is now in his last year of college studying Business Finance as well as working part time. He loves to play basketball, music and spending time with friends and family. He has developed into a great leader with others around him and has a sensitive heart.   

Daniel is 19 now and in his second year of college!  He loves basketball as well, music and spending time with friends and family. Daniel loves to play the piano and guitar and is gifted in worship music! He also does so well with younger children, is a wiz at ASL and cares deeply.

Jessica is 17 years old now and a Senior in High School. She is an amazing helper and big sister.  Jessica also loves music, singing, dancing and cooking. She can connect well with her big brothers as well as teach and nurture her younger sister.  She has a sensitive heart. 

Aleeya is 10 years old and full of energy!  She is currently in Fifth Grade homeschool and is learning so much!  Aleeya has a full personality and has us laughing all day!  She is a strong little girl, independent and full of life.  She is an amazing blessing to our family!
